The UV rays are harmful for the vision
Sunday, August 21st, 2011It is very important especially during the summer to think about how to protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays. Goggles are the best way to protect your vision from sunlight. Depending on the wavelength are three types of rays: UV-A, UV-C, UV-C. The UV-A rays have the greatest wavelength. They contribute to the occurrence of sunburn and cause premature skin aging. The UV-C rays cause sunburn and are frequently identified as cause of skin cancer and eye diseases (eg cataract), but also worsen the course of some diseases such as maculo-distrophy, diabetic and retinopathy. The UV-C rays are the shortest wave and are most dangerous. Fortunately, they are absorbed by Earth’s atmosphere before reaching the surface. The best way to protect your eyes from ultraviolet radiation is right and to choose the appropriate time for us glasses
