The Japanese scientists have proven that the systematic consumption of apples drastically reduces the amount of fat in the body. The published results of clinical studies show that eating three apples before a meal lowered the fat content in the blood of at least 20%. During the observations made by Japanese scientists, a group of people before food was given 600 mg apple polyphenol – a substance composing the fruit substance helping the breakdown of fat.
